Absolutely. I know what Kwahi will be. A Stephen Jackson/Shane Battier clone. Which can be very very solid. But not anything that gets you anywhere.

Stephen Jackson/ Shane Battier clone? Lol.. you guys have no idea what you're in for with Kawhi. This thread will be bumped when he beasts and becomes a top 5 SF in the league.

    Bump away! He's offensively limited.

Can't say I'll bump this thread when Kwahi turns out to be an above average ok player.... since I won't care.

Chandler has more upside then Kwahi imo. Chandler is missing a shot, which he absolutely can develop - there's nothing wrong with his mechanics. He may not, but he can.

Offensively limited? Say that after this season when he averages more than 17+ PPG.

Kawhi is so much younger and he's further ahead.
who knows what happens, but my money would be on Kawhi right now long term.

I originally projected Kawhi to be a good but not great player. I just don't see the talent to develop into a high usage/efficient offensive player. But I've been wrong before. Just not very often. We'll have to see. In my opinion, the more usage Kawhi gets, the more deflated his efficiency will be.

Kawhi Leonard's about to show the world he's on prime Gerald Wallace level.

Genius statement. His efficiency is already sky high man, to expect it to go up with more usage is kind of expecting a little too much.

If his career turns out anything like Stephen Jackson, he will be an all star. Kawhi is already more athletic than Jackson was and wayy more athletic than Battier. Add in hard work to that and he can be a special player. Plus his hands are HUGE.

The way you guys overrated our players is comical. So Chandler is missing a shot? Whats khawi missing? Oh yea, a shot which has gotten significantly better since he got to the pros just like chandlers. Add to that khawi is better off the dribble and he's more athletic and they're in the same boat. Talking about pop as if Duncan is the only reason that team plays so well is a joke. So what about all that rest he gives duncan? Duncan isn't even the focal point of the team anymore and that team still wins 50 games like it's nothing. Coaches need players to win and thats a fact. That doesn't mean you discredit a coach because of the team he had. Stop act like he's had phil jackson rosters his whole career....

Legit point. Right now he's playing alongside Duncan, Parker, and Manu. So, it is sky high. Does that mean anything? What I'm saying is when he becomes the "franchise player" he won't be an efficient baller. High usage will lead to low efficiency with Kawhi. So, I should have left off the "er" on lower in my above post. What I'm saying is if he becomes the "franchise player" then the franchise is in trouble, kinda like the Rox are right now. What I'm saying is if Kawhi is your "franchise player" then you aren't a legit threat for a title. Now, you can come back and bump this thread when Kawhi proves I'm wrong.

Kinda reminds me of James Posey when he was with the Nuggets. People expected big things....

Who cares, we already got Parsons as the "face" of the franchise.

I don't know about you guys, but Parsons seems to be the much nicer 'face' of the franchise to me.

Pops got it wrong this time. Leonard isn't the future face of the franchise. He is the future of basketball.
