Capris don’t bother me, not something I’d ever wear but I’ve seen some guys being able to pull them off. Never seen a man carrying a purse. A polo shirt just screams to me that the person wearing it doesn’t know how to dress themselves. Granted, it’s better than a man wearing khaki pants/shorts (the ultimate inexcusable fashion choice). But god forbid, if you ever combine the two, you may as well just wear sweat pants and give up.
They types that wear capris remind me of the type of guys who wouldn't know the difference between a wrench and a pair of pliers. I just get that "sissy" vibe seeing them. What I call a purse those types probably call something else, but it's the same thing really, and they like them flashy and expensive.
At my country club, they insist that the polo shirts have to be tucked in on the golf course. So I do it there. But outside the golf course, I am more of a chilled out, untucked kind of guy. Am I a rebel?
For some of the members who joined in the site in the last 15 years, even though this thread wasn't 10 pages and took 20 years to get a bump, it was a very infamous thread that pretty much has defined @B-Bob 's existence in this forum As much as any poster is defined by their politics, their incredulous amount of grammar errors (me), knowledge of the CBA, spamming , etc, this thread defined B-Bob *disclaimer Not attempting to misrepresent myself as a 99er
Capri pants on a heterosexual male are a no-go. People have the freedom to wear what they want, but no male above 15 should wear them. Also - this isn't 1995 - Polo shirts are really only acceptable for very specific circumstances like playing golf (another out of style thing). Honestly at this point things have gotten so bad - just be clean, just shower every day and use deodorant and change your underwear every day, clean your ass and wash your hands - at this point it seems like half the men cannot even do this.... and they wonder why so many women are choosing cats and Oxygen serial killer shows over relationships with men.
I was really surprised when I realized the thread was over 20 years old and had never been bumped before -- the polo jokes have come and gone ever since.
Guys with a tall slender build can pull off capri pants but they don’t work on most body types. It’s kinda like a guy wearing skinny jeans past 40.
