I wanted to do this poll after the Monta Ellis thread. So here it is. BTW it is spelled Monta not Monte. Rajon Rondo Allen Iverson Tony Parker Monta Ellis TJ Ford Earl Watson Leandro Barbosa Aaron Brooks Devin Harris The "Other" option could include players like Jordan Farmer, Sebastian Telfair or Jason Terry, since they are less obvious.
It's LeBron James. They did this poll with like 100 NBA players and he got 97 of the votes. And of course it was with the ball in your hand coast to coast.
Barbosa is fastest, I think. What's funny is he seems like he has no control over himself but I think he's actually very well controlled for someone whos' going that fast.
To me, Ellis is the quickest/fastest player in the league at any given moment. That means a combination of full and halfcourt. If we're just talking end to end speed, it may be Barbosa or Brooks.
With the ball in your hand coast to coast regardless of traveling? But kidding aside, I thought about putting Lebron up there. But then I thought about how everryone associates fastest players with only guards in the NBA. Last thing, I see a lot of Earl Watson in Aaron Brooks. They are very similar in size, quickness and shooting. I voted to Tony Parker, BTW.
Iverson when he first came in the league was WAY FAST. He has lost some of his speed over the years but definitely has not lost his game..
Chris Paul isn't as fast as players listed above. I'd say he is very quick and good at change of direction moves. But he isn't super speedy. I forgot about Nate Robinson. But he is a Knick so...
