President Donald Trump has not held a single mock debate session, and has no plans to stage a formal practice round, as he readies for his first faceoff with Joe Biden in less than three weeks, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions. I expect that Trump will BS through each and every debate, because why the f*ck not?
Exactly. Lying is so natural for him. He'll just blurt out another round of fake promises, distort facts, and pretend this chaos in America was somebody else's fault, and 200,000 dead Americans are China's fault.
I just call it like it is. He shows all the signs of what psychiatrists would seem a psychopath or sociopath. Then, top that off with all the traits of narcissistic personality disorder combined with being a compulsive liar.
I agree! Why give Trump any more air time to lie to Americans and spread propaganda, or start acting like a nasty bully making up lies about Biden? Nothing he says is believable anyway. Just send Trump in for a psychological exam and put him away where he can't harm any more people again.
Trump's only real plan is to do as he wants as long as he wants and pay off everyone protecting him from prison time.
If he has shady business dealings, shady foreign bank accounts, bribes, money laundering, foreign policies made for Trump family business ventures, payoffs, etc..it's not going to be listed on his taxes anyway.
I don't think we need any debates. There are no issues that we need to contrast their positions on, no one is going to change their ideas about the candidates and the few undecided, why really? Trump will just lie, exaggerate and call people juvenile names. He would not nor could not explain policy positions. He doesn't really have any (Health Care Plan?) And it's a tricky position for Biden; he's got to call him a liar every way but saying it in those words. It's so potentially explosive, the fallout cannot be predicted.
Strategically Biden should not do debates, but, Biden is a traditionalist so he will probably do all 3.
Biden will "test positive" for COVID shortly before the debates but be asymptomatic That way he can skip debates and quarantine for two weeks while doing interviews from his basement teleprompter, but also claim he is healthy enough to not be affected by the disease.
People like to accuse Biden of looking for ways to avoid the debates but Trump is the one saying Biden should take a drug test before the debate. That is about as likely as Trump releasing his tax returns short of a court order.
That sounds more like something Trump would do. Although Covid would be potentially deadly for a man in his physical condition. Speaking of teleprompters, Trump is forced to read them in his robotic tone, because they don't want him freely trying to sound like a complete idiot making his press conferences like he does in interviews when he rattles off nonsense.
Trump had 4 years to clearly outline what he can do. That's all we need. Outlaw incumbent campaigning and debating forever. We have the case study. That's all there should be.
