No Mark Gasol on the list? That would be my vote.

Guess I should have put him on the list. Doesn't look like I can edit the poll. Vote "Other," I guess.

Howard is still the best center in the league but the center position is the weakest position currently in the NBA. Howard is in the right era given his limitations.

Where would he rank in the 90s?

    Hakeem
    Shaq
    David Robinson
    Ewing
    Mourning
    Daugherty
    Smits

Hard to say. His post game probably would've been better without zone defenses.

    Would love to have Noah
He can Run the P&R,does Not post up and is the best passing Big in the game today Along with the Gasol Bros

He is also equal with Howard on D and is a Warrior who will fight Till the end

Also a fan of Marc Gasol

Andre Drummond will be the best center in NBA in two years.

Also, Mutombo would be on that list if Smits is there.

In general, I think 90s rules and physicality would help Dwight. Prime Dwight circa 09-11 would probably be somewhere in the middle of that list.

Definitely. He'd be allowed to be more physical too. And most importantly, his passing would be far less of an issue. Current rules place a lot of emphasis on quick reaction and passing in post ups.

no dmc, no m gasol but u have bogut and hibbert? lol

dwight is the best center by default, but not by much. hopefully he changes that this offseason
drummond and noah could be taking that spot from him.

I am viewing Anthony Davis as a PF but maybe I should have put him on there.

I was wondering what percentage of Rockets fans would be willing to concede that Dwight Howard is not the #1 C in the league. The results were not nearly as biased as I expected!

It's like asking who the fastest 60 year old is in Centerville, GA. Probably Dwight

Is Dwight's unreliable post up game really more valuable than Noah's elite passing ability and direction of the offense? And Kevin McHale said that Noah was the deserved DPOY so far. So, its hard for me not to put Noah at the top right now.

overall dwight still has a slight edge. there isnt a huge talent gap between dwight and the 2nd best center.

    No Gasol or Demarcus Cousins

Cousins is 22/11 and in the leaders for assists for centers, blocks and steals

Ppl just hate Cousins I guess

If it weren't for age I'd pick Timmy D over Howard any day. Duncan has way, way more offense.
