Early 2000's Lakers/Kings Early 2000's Kings/Mavs series that were ridiculously high scoring Spurs/Suns series in 2000's that was about Spurs D/ High Octane Suns O Mid 2000's Pacers/Pistons who had great defenses scores were in the 80's /90's Spurs/Mavs had some great battles in the 2000's Few others I'm leaving of course.
If we are talking about non-Rockets series, I definitely remember when Denver beat Seattle in the 90's. That was crazy.
Rockets VS Clippers 2014/2015. Heat VS Spurs 2012/2013 (amazing series) Rockets VS Portland 2013/2014(another great one that had me hating lin) Lakers VS Pacers 1999/2000 Celtics VS Lakers 2007/2008
All the Rockets series during their championship years were great. Jazz, Suns, Spurs, Knicks, etc. Knicks vs Pacers in the mid 90s. Reggie Miller owning the Knicks with the 3 then steal and another 3 to stun them. Ewing and Rik Smits kept scoring in the last 10 seconds. Bulls vs Pacers in 1998 that went 7 games. Knicks vs Heat in the late 90s and early 00s. Allan Houston buzzer beater and the brawls. Mavs vs Heat when Dirk went off and beat the cocky Heat in the 4th Pistons vs Lakers and they beat Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton. Such a joy to see that
Yes, that series was the 2008-09 1st Round series. Rondo vs Rose (in his playoff debut), had all those overtime games. That was easily my favorite Non-Rockets series as well. My 2nd favorite Non-Rockets series was just back in 2010 when LAL defeated BOS in 7 games to win the title. My all time favorite series was in the 1995 WC Semifinals when the Rockets came back from that 1-3 hole to defeat Phoenix. I understand many will say 2015 HOU-LAC, but to me, it carries more weight that we won Games 5 and 7 on the road to avoid elimination in '95. It will always resonate much stronger with me because of the fact Rockets ended up winning the Championship that season.
Mutombo brilliant and the lesser known Robert Pack going nut at the right time. Add in GS beat Dallas. That was sweet.
San Antonio vs OKC 2012 was in SA during game 5. That game alone put me on notice that Harden had star power and OKC was going to bea terror for at least a decade.
Yes! Seeing that team grow was pretty awesome SA had no answer for OKC. I don't think we will ever see a team like that anymore well at least after the CBA.
Non-Rockets: 2007 Playoffs First Round. 1st seed Mavericks vs 8th seed Warriors Mavericks had one of the best regular season records in NBA HISTORY. The Warriors used a third-quarter 18–0 run..... collapse from MVP candidate Dirk Nowitzki (2–13 from the field with 8 points) to finish Dallas and become the first #8 seed to win a best-of-7 series in the first round, and just the third overall in NBA history. Best regular season, MVP FAIL Dirk, and a complete meltdown by Mavs and their fans was EPIC. Things were so bad for Cuban that he sued Don Nelson for "knowing all of Drik's moves".
2009 Rockets vs. Blazers. 2009 Rockets vs. Lakers. 2008 Celtics vs. Cavs. 2010 Celtics vs. Lakers. 2012 Celtics vs. Heat.
