I heard Fat Josh Innes say yesterday that if all four teams at 10-3 win out, the Texans will not get a bye.

How is that the case? Not saying he is wrong YET, but I don't get it.

No teams play each other. Pitt doesn't matter because they'd be WC, Ravens would be one seed because of tie-breaker with us, and we would have same conference record but better division record than NE. Neither us or Ravens played NE. I would think those would be the next two tie breakers.

Explain to me why I'm dumb or why Fat Josh Innes is fat.

Division record isn't a part of the tiebreaker when comparing teams not in the same division.

It comes down to strength of victory, which the Ravens and Patriots would each have over us.

If New England, Baltimore and Pitt wins out we would all be 13-3

New England strength of schedule is hard than ours so that gives them the edge

Baltimore has beaten Pitt twice and beaten us so that gives them the edge over us.

Therefore we are the 3rd seed.

Ok. I guess we need Jesus to save us all in Denver.

That would help, but to me, the biggest game is Baltimore @ San Diego. That's the biggest chance for a Baltimore loss, and a game there is the only one that truly scares me come January. If the Texans get the No. 2 seed and the No. 1 (only possible road game) is New England, I really think the Texans make the Super Bowl.

IMO this could happen, apparently Flacco hasn't been good on the road this year.

I meant we want SD to win this week against Baltimore. We'll want Cincy to win in week 17 but this week they're playing St. Louis.

Well, the good thing is Denver gets stuck with Pittsburgh or Baltimore.

So, the Texans do get a weak team to at least start the playoffs with.

For comedy's sake, John McClain's odds:

Most Likely: Raiders beat SD, coupled with Cincy loss and Texans win or Jets win.

2nd Most Likely: Jets with a win and at least 3 other games to fall in their favor

3rd Most Likely: Titans with a win over Houston and about 5 other things to fall in their favor.

Least Likely: The Bengals (one game lead over everyone above)

    The genius of the Pancakes.

Fat Josh Innes is fat because he takes in more calories than he expends on a regular basis
