I remember at the end of the season reading about how Lou wilts in the playoffs. But so far, he's been MR. BIG! Great job Lou
I was thinking this guy was never surrounded by other capable shooter/creators/scorers to this degree. He's always got a teammate that he can play off of now in deep pressure situations and has been semi-flourishing in the playoffs.
Lou was god awful tonight . He just looked so tentative out there the whole time . Those beggings the the 2nd and 4th quarter are his time to bring the aggressiveness and he let us down tonight . That game was up for grabs at the beginning of the 4th and our timidity on offense plus our clunkiness on defense gave the game to the Spurs in about 2 minutes .... Look , we could have fought back and maybe not lost it by 25 , but there's no way after those first 2-3 minutes that the Spurs were gonna lose that game up 10+ The start of that quarter was pivotal , forget about the rest of the 4th . Pop knew it , dantoni should've know it , Lou should have played like it .
Like Harden, when Lou's 3 isn't falling he creates contact / drives the lane. When such contact is not being called, he is nullified. You can thank the third team that was playing out there tonight. Alexander / Morey / D'Antoni better be working the phones making sure this shady business doesn't continue in game 3 and beyond.
Agree to a certain extent ; but James kept attacking and was able to create some good out of it . I mean despite his horrific shooting he had us down only 5 entering the 3rd Lou was content with playing decoy . He needs to be more aggressive even if he's not getting calls
