The officiating was flat out horrible tonight, the league basically said get this game back to OKC. However, Russ wouldn't cooperate in all of the 4th Qtrs.
why are there no videos of Le$ laughing anymore? Le$ laughs like he wipes his ass with money. Best laugh in the business.
What is there to investigate? He walked up to the ref, said something, and walked away. Either fine him or don't say anything
Les is a good owner. He gets way to much flack from some. He hires smart ppl and lets them do their job while being around but not to involved. I think he's the type of owner every GM and coach would like because he's very interested in what's going on but also stands back and doesn't push his agenda. And les walking up to the ref was epic I have never seen anyone do that let alone a multi billionaire owner. I'm sure he gets major respect from the players on the team. I know a lot of media and fans of other teams don't like it and try and make fun of the rockets but I actually like that Morey and les stick up for the team and our loud and vocal about it.
I always thought the Rockets we're going to win in five but I felt like they wanted Russell Westbrook to perform well to justify the fact that he was voted the MVP as the number six seed The NBA just wants thunder fans to have something. Imagine losing James Harden, then ibaka and green, and finally Kevin Durant. Just imagine losing Kevin Durant. They need something because that franchise has the biggest bandwagon fans ever and we will finally get to see that after this season. small-market teams such as San Antonio, indiana, portland, washington, Memphis and Okc cannot survive in this league if they are not winning something.
Just thought I would go back and look at how much the NBA fined Cuban whenever he decided to confront the refs, and it appears Les is in line for a fine of around $10,000 to $25,000. Might have to cut back on his wine purchases this month lol This website has a handy list of all of Cuban's fines; his first incidents copped a $25K fine and they just escalated from there... Similar incidents and fines: 11/20/00 $15,000 For confronting and verbally abusing the refs during and after the Dal-Pho game. 2/16/01 $10,000 For going on the court during the Dal-Cle game when Gary Trent and Wesley Person got in a scuffle. [Cuban went halfway up the sideline along the scorer's table before returning to his seat and got nowhere close the scuffle (which was at the free throw line at the opposite basket).] Cuban was also suspended for 2 games. [The fine and suspension were automatic for a team official going on the court during a game.] 5/10/06 $100,000 For going on the court during the 5/7/06 game at San Antonio (game 1) to complain about a non-call. 1/18/14 $100,000 for confronting the refs and using inappropriate language towards them following the 1/15/14 Dal-LAC game. 6/20/06 $250,000 For "several acts of misconduct" following the 6/18/06 game at Miami (game 5), including yelling a ref, staring down David Stern, and cursing to the media.
Was that Hakeem with the "Calm down bro" attempt at holding Les back as he was getting up from his seat? lulz... If you listen the TNT feed carefully, you can pick up Les telling the ref, "Listen when I talk to you."
His net worth as of late last year was between 1 1/2 to 2 billion. I'm pretty sure the fine won't phase him. It would be awesome BTW if the players picked it up for him like what happened in Memphis with Fizdale.
Lol what an OG. Probably investigating how much they can fine him but good luck with that. Probably will match his fine or double it and donate it to charity.
Remember the last time a member of the Alexander family chastised a Ref? Ms. Alexander stood up for Clyde . . . . .. next thing you know. . . CHAMPIONSHIP 2 Rocket River I'm just saying . . .
