Rudy Gay for me for sure. That's when I really started to follow the draft in depth. I remember he was even being considered as the #1 pick to Toronto. I was so excited when he fell to us. Only to be deeply disappointed in trading him away. I remember it couldn't be official, and I would pray that the deal wouldn't go through.

You are right, but that just shows how dumb Carrol Dawson was as a GM and how stubborn JVG was as a coach. I don't think RA and Morey pass up Rudy nor trade him.

I'm a little shocked nobody has said Richard Jefferson. That was the worst trade I ever saw the Rockets make. Hands down.
Obviously u missed the part about morey convincing les why the rockets should trade the pick for shane. The idea of drafting thabo makes it even worse.
