I think we can only allow one defensive liability on the court at a time. That means Harden and Melo can never play together unless its a straight up stomp.

    Harden + Gordon + Ennis + Tucker + Capela
    Cp3 + Melo + Clark + MCW + A back up center in which we don't have.

I didn't spend a lot of time thinking of the line ups, but what I listed should serve as an example.

Awful teammate. This team would be 7-0 if Rondo was on it.

    CP3 playing 4-D chess calling a player's only meeting during a timeout.

And they were going blow to blow on those 3 pointers late in the 4th, I will take the players staying energetic and hold out the win.

Who cares if it was the Nets, we had less digits in the W column before the game started.

question is... are they a liability by inability - or lack of desire?

i mean, I've sen james play good defense... he played at least decent defense pretty much all year last year...

previous years, it was all about how 'James had to carry such a load on offense bc he was our only real playmaker... and he cant be expected to do so much on offense - and still be expected to play defense...'

Well we added CP3 to take some of the load... EGo can create his own shot... GG has no prob firin it up... I presume we brought Melo in for offense - not defense...

    whats the story now?

Have we decided Harden is a superstar and doesnt have to play d if he doesnt want to?

Before I get b****ed at for ragging on Harden... I'm saying the dude can play good d - i've seen it... I think he has the ability... Melo idk - could be laziness or could be old and bad footwork... idk...

and nets are a very solid team... they have a better shot selection than rockets...straight up only 3s(good looks) and layups.... a lot of drives ... cuts ....they insist on going for the layups more so than rockets, who shoot a lot of difficult 3 s rather than trying to drive to the rim perhaps because rockets dont have personnel to do so...

I agree with you that it is about the desire. But I also agree that the harder you play on defense the harder it is for your to play on offense. There are some players who are machines that can give 100% on both ends and Harden isn't one of those players, and that is ok.
