It has nothing to do with KPJ, only clowns like you are still obsessed with that guy....he's not even in the NBA anymore, you should probably move on.

The reason I say that I'd offer Jalen something similar is due to how bad he's been on the court. It's a bit more than the MLE, and the low guarantee would make it easy to dump him if he never ends up improving enough to be a solid 6th man.

With KPJ there was off court concerns, with Jalen there's on court concerns.

LOL, yeah, you seem obsessed kiddo, it's half funny half sad.

I do hope you move on one day.

As to your boy Jalen, he's still one of the worst players in his own draft class, he's still the worst first round pick the Rockets have taken since 2021 that is still with the team....

You know, things that are more relevant than you screeching about a guy not even in the league anymore.

....so then you're just being a contrarian?

If he's a "colossal bust", why are you trying to argue for a massive extension?

I don't hate him, he's just not very good at basketball.

I don't think a bench quality player deserves significantly more than the MLE. 12-15 million a year is the most I'd want to pay a bench guy.

Every player still on the Rockets roster taken by the team in the first round is better than Jalen and he's the highest pick.

Even you have to admit that's pretty bad.

It would be pretty bad. It’s also not true. So there is that….

It 100% is true. Not a single player on the Rockets roster had a lower WS/48 than Jalen.

Only small sample, hurt, Tari Eason and Tate had a lower TS% than Jalen.

Only Tate, Reggie Bullock, and Dillon Brooks had a lower BPM than Jalen.

He's simply awful.... and it's beyond time to stop making excuses and lying for him.

It’s absolutely true and it’s indisputable. His value is his upside. Chances are he never reaches it but in the unlikely event he does, it’s worth the gamble to keep him

These are things that those who rely 99% on metrics (mostly non & scrub players/fanatics)

Then you have others on here who claim they have coached and act like if you sign a pro deal and don't play in the pro league (nba) that season, it counts on your actual NBA experience as a season

Green just finished his 3rd NBA season and is looking more tmac/kobe than Sanchez/Telfair as they were coming into 4th NBA season

Had Jordan entered league straight out of HS he wouldn't have put up 28ppg as a rookie.....Maybe 8-10 (being kind)

Yes, I had DD tell me Jalen Green is 4 years experience as a pro. To elevate Mobley I guess and state he is more
advanced while doing it in 3 years.

Kuminga, Scoot, Nix, Dyson, would all be listed as a year extra of experience in
basketball-reference.com if true. Fact is the G-league Ignite team is being shut
down because it looks like none of them have learned anything.

This is why I stated Jalen Green is behind in development:
Year 1: Ignite, Kuminga and Green looked like they were way behind.
Year2: Silas stuck Jalen Green in the corner as spot shooter.....Eric Gordon
............building trade value. Same M.O. with Jabari the following yr (Spot Shooter)
Year 3: Silas still tanking....still building up sleepy Gordon trade value.

Not that great of resume as coaches or teachers to this point

    Year 4::Ime Udoka

Or it's just an accurate statement, he's been a professional basketball player for 4 years now and he still can't shoot at an NBA level, he's one of the worst in the entire league.

I get it though, you desperately want to make excuses for his failure.

Jalen Green is a volume shooter just like Michael Jordan.

If Jalen Green knew he would get 28 FGA's a gm like MJ (3rd season)......he wouldn't
worry about going 2-10 to start the game. Work up a later and
get a beat on the rim and then get hot like MJ.

MJ shot about 17% from 3 in his first 7 years or so. Thank goodness
he wasn't asked to shoot 3's like shooting guards are asked nowadays.
MJ's FG% would be near Jalens today. MJ got more high percentage
dunks and layups because the league was full of 280 pound fat @$$es like
Kevin DuckWorth that had to stay in arms reach of their assignments.

Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough trying to compare draft bust Jalen Green to literally the greatest basketball player to ever step on the court?

Are you just some kind of weird masochist?
