Finally - someone who watched the same game I did! Basic: take care of the ball. Basic: stick with your man. Basic: make your free throws - that's why they're free. Basic: play defense. Basic: catch the friggin' ball before trying something else. Basic: when someone sets a pick, don't dribble away from it, thus giving the defender room to move around the pick. Basic: going to the corners will get you killed by a trapping defence. Fundamentals - just as applicable to the pros.
Amen. The biggest problem with our team is not the style of offense or Rudy or defense or even shooting. It is TURNOVERS. We are next to last in league, maybe last now. We give away way too many possessions.
