Well, we won the game. So, we can kinda laugh about it now. At the time it wasn't funny. After listening to MDA explain what happened, I understand now the confusuin. A miscue at a critical moment. But, we survived.

Hopefully they can learn from this.

The rules of Rugby Union are pretty clear on this one, the ball was still in the ruck; a pretty heads-up play by the Tuckwagon, a world-class #7:

    The ruck
    [IMG]
A ruck is formed if the ball is on the ground and one or more players from each team who are on their feet close around it. Players must not handle the ball in the ruck, and must use their feet to move the ball or drive over it so that it emerges at the team’s hindmost foot, at which point it can be picked up.

It will be interesting to find out what he is thinking at that moment. Seems that he had concussion and his mind is not in the game. Go ask the guy.

Feigen went up to him but he dropped his tape recorder and then PJ stood around boxing out until Walt Clyde Frazier picked it up.

Passing the ball into PJ was foolish considering his bricked free throws cost us the Nets game. What a choker.

In all fairness PJ is just tired. He is not traditionally a low IQ player. He is getting older and is playing an insane amount of minutes. I believe this is also affecting his shot. He’s punch drunk. Once we get CP back, MDA may need to give him a game off or two so he can regain his bearings.

On the flip side thanks to PJ we may have had the funniest game thread ever. If you want to laugh(or cry) start at around page 42 or 43.The reactions are Hilarious!

Pity the Academy Award nominations have already gone out, Coach. This acting job might have bagged the Oscar.

PJ is one of the last players anyone should think has low bball iq. that's why im just anxious to know what was going on with him in that moment.

The only thing I could think of was that PJ didn't actually see EG inbound the ball, his head was turned, and when he turned back around and saw the ball, he thought it was still there bouncing from the foul shot. So he was making the smart play.. I hope.

Of course, I have no idea, but that's the only thing which makes any sense to me.

Don't know what is worse; PJ doing this or Gordon's drama queen reaction, instead of getting back to the play.

Glad we got the win, but come on guys, you need to pick it up for Harden!
