He defends very well, he is physical, smart and is an elite shooter on open shots... which is what he is going to get with Paul and Harden running the offense... he also doesn't require touches, rebounds well and causes turnovers.

He isn't an all star but he is pretty damn close to what the Rockets needed from their wings.

    lol and he failed miserably.

Lebron averaged 36/8/5 on 57% shooting.

He wasn't playing with James Harden (or CP3).

how many times have we fell in love with mediocre players because James Harden made them look better than they actually where?

Morey can flip contracts like pancakes. I wouldn't worry about having a rotational NBA player on a $8M in today's NBA.

I hate attacking guys like tucker when i play basketball. I cant move them in the post. They are tough inside. You generally have to settle for the jumper or rely on your teammates to score because these big body guys who are quick on their feet are made for defense.

This is an unbelievable addition to our depth if Trevor Ariza stays.

No one is signed for another few days. No doubt Morey will be looking for a S&T with NG contracts to keep our MLE intact.

If some of you recall, we agreed to sign Ariza to the MLE the first time around (fresh off of a LAL title run). We got the Injury exception for Yao and used that instead.

Morey and Lin agreed to and offer sheet, then he swapped it for a poison pill contract last second. The man will do what he can to keep this MLE intact, IMO.

It often costs draft picks to get rid of contracts that turn out to be bad contracts

Lol, ~.350 3pt% is great for a player at his position and also gives above average defense.

He is 32 not 33 and is the versatile type of player that tends to thrive in Mike D's system. I like the signing, I wish it was for less money, but straight up scrub players are getting huge contracts these days. I think he will surprise the doubters. You're not signing star players with a mid level exception. Just not happening. JJ Redick got 23 million! Amir Johnson got 11 million. Tony Snell 11 million per. Langston freaking Galloway 7 million per. Crazy money out there.

I like the signing. The price is fine, hoping the last year isn't guaranteed though.

Got him for half the price of Iggy. 5 Mill less then Ingles.
