Pistons waive Josh Smith

    Without the giant salary, Josh Smith can "relax", come off the bench and play a reserve role. But as a high-priced free agent with the Pistons, the psychological aspect of expectations made it difficult to reduce his role on the team.

    As a $2 million rental on the Rockets with reduced expectations, Josh Smith is more likely to play within himself.

    Makes sense. So instead of telling Josh (who was the highest payed player) we cant feature you in the offense anymore and win, SVG decides to release him. SVG looks like a genius Josh like a chump who doesn't know his place.

    Thank goodness Josh told Mchale that he sucks now and should come off the bench. Rocket would probably be the 11th seed if Josh continued as a starter.
