    Pistons going back to old colors

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Pistons may no longer be the "Bad Boys" team that won two NBA championships a decade ago, but they are bringing back the old uniform colors.

    Red, white and blue are returning for the 2001-02 season on all team uniforms, practice attire, retail merchandise and the playing surface at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

    "We are excited to return to our original colors," Pistons president Joe Dumars said in a statement. "This is a change that our fans called for, and, as a result, we listened and delivered."

    The color change will replace the scheme of teal, black, yellow and red that was introduced before the 1996-1997 season.

    Seriously guys, if we want out of those PJ's, we need to make some noise, or they're not going to do it. I recall CD or someone else saying "We haven't got many complaints about them." Send them plethoras of emails, letters, phone calls, whatever. Send those BAD ASS pictures that you guys made. I have already began.

    I wonder if Detroit has a new arena next season. From the pics, they have adapted to the new Nike uni's that the Lakers, Heat and Raptors have.

    Imagine the those glorious red and gold colors in this new format.

    Is there any fan that prefers the "pajamas" over the championship ones?
