Pippen On How To Defend Harden and Make Him Quit

Weirdly enough I think I found this board due to that whole Pippen-Barkley blowup being so intriguing. For its time that was as soap opera-y as the NBA could get. Nice to see Pippen's name is still mud around here.

 

The whole squad gave a piss poor effort (Coach included) & got blown out. The whole team got what it deserved. But you seem to blame Harden and only Harden. Sooo, who are we trading Harden for who would've single handedly won the Spurs series and who can drag H-Town to an NBA title?

 

Not quite my question. So you're admitting you agree that Harden personally stopped competing? I need to know this before we move on in the conversation sir. Thanks

ok so its well documented harden and pippen have a history of quiting so i would someone else use the word quitter than pippen

 

For the newbs, Pippen is the worst Rockets acquisition of all time

I know Barkley hurt your feelings on TNT, but that doesn't affect the team

Pippen forced the Rockets to trade him, so his trade value was low
We got a bunch of crap for him, that send the Rockets to dark days of bad basketball

this caused the whole Barkley hating the Rockets because Barkley took less money to get Pippen here
Supposedly Barkley would be paid back at the end of his contract for the money he gave up to get Pippen

and we know what happened

Les never paid him and took 3 billion dollars and put the trophies on display on his boat in Florida
The boat probably cost 3 million dollars that Les didn't pay Barkley with

 

Harden was our best player. Of course he will get the majority of the blame last year, lol.

 

Dsnotty quitten and his crucial turnover in game 1 pretty much cost us. The lakers series. Sure he had 37 in the game 3 of that series, but the turnover in game 1 was a momentum killer

 

He still doesn’t finish well with his right and it’s very noticeable... if he even attempts to at all rather than going back to the left.

Again, I’m saying this compared to other scorers at or close to the same level as him. Agree to disagree though
