Single handedly? I don't know if that's entirely correct. But regardless if it's true or not, that clip was from the 1st quarter of the game. You can't be THAT exhausted in the 1st few minutes of a game. Mind you these turnovers weren't forced either. So there wasn't even any defense played on him. You're whole "Harden carried us by himself so he was too tired" argument doesn't add up. Hopefully we don't get that 13 turnover game Harden this series either
Yep. Heaviest burden/no stars to play with/most success since he got here. Good thing Morey, TIlman, MDA, CP3 are alot smarter then these so called rockets fans https://www.basketball-reference.co...ast_per_g&c2comp=gt&c2val=5.5&order_by=player
You keep whining as if the guy played alone. He wasn't the only Rocket who got paid to play. They all played like crap. Team game, team failure. Easy to blame one guy but it was bunch of millionaires who got their asses kicked right along with Harden.
do you agree that last year's rockets only had 1 legit superstar VS multi star teams? of the playoffs teams last year, who had a heavier burden/worse supporting cast than harden? who was the 2nd most important player for the rockets in last years regular season? who was the 2nd most important player for the rockets in last years playoffs?
I come in peace. Not here to debate Harden's greatness with you. Just wanted to say he could save a lot of $ on security and just hire you.
hehe its not even about harden.. it could have been lebron or kd.. and they still weren't able to hand these "fans" a ring last year rockets over achieved last year considering we had pbev as starting pg and slou, dekker, and harrell as 7th to 9th guys on the bench and mda playing an 8 man rotation heavily dependent on 1 superstar doing everything
Lot of vitriol toward Pippen and not much analysis of what he's saying. I kinda agree about the forcing him right thing, it's overblown. He can finish with his right hand, or go around you on the right and finish with the left at the last second, so it's really not a great option and I don't understand defenders that give him almost an open lane to go right. Shade him so he doesn't go left but don't turn your body all the way sideways. Not sure if I agree about the switching a big onto him being a bad strategy, and I don't think it's as relevant against Warriors. Sure, he toasts them, but the alternative is not switching and he shoots an open three. At least when he drives to the basket you have a shot at bringing a help defender over. Also Draymond Green will not be as helpless as Gobert or KAT were. Reality is, all these strategies are predicated on Harden not having his stepback 3 going. If he's hitting that shot there is really no way to stop Harden.
No whining, just stating facts. Also lets keep it 100 here. This is not about Harden trying his hardest & simply having a poor shooting game. It's about Harden not even COMPETING & sleepwalking in crucial games. Huge difference. His teammates may or may not have played well, but they still competed like they wanted to win. Harden hasn't fully competed at times & deserves the criticism he receives until he proves ppl wrong. You're doing most the whining here
All that is irrelevant to why he stopped competing in game 6. Key word compete. A bad game due to fatigue is one thing. But not putting in any effort, carelessly throwing the ball away, not taking open shots & letting ur man run past you for a layup is the definition of quitting. You should know the difference
You call the guy a quitter and you blame him alone for the team failing. Get rid of the guy. Simple. I'm a fan of the team. So, who can we trade Harden for who would've won the Spurs series and who can single handedly win Htown a NBA title?
