Meh Luc will be 100 percent healthy by this next year and will replace trevs D and 3. And the best part is morey can probably snag him for the minimun again since his stock is low from the shoulde injury.
ROFL. We'll miss him, but not that much. Could have at least made one shot...all he had to do was hit 1 or 2 3's and we would be CHAMPIONS. BUT NO>... 0 in 42 minutes. WOW
This sux. Ariza will be missed. But we pay Ryno 20 million to sit on the bench. Morey made a massive mistake signing Ryno.
What cap space/assets are we using to replace him? What other 3 and D wings are on the market that we could get? Please do tell
At least he didn't pull a Durant and join the Warriors after choking against them in the closeout game, as was rumored. And damn Chris...you just signed a $160 million deal. You couldn't throw some $$ to Trevor out of your own pocket? I thought you guys were tight which is why Trevor was supposedly an "untouchable".
if ariza thinks money is more important than winning, imma pull up to his house! but seriously, is 1 yr/15M that crazy to go to a loser? 3 yrs, $45M? vaya con dios. 1 yr/$15M? i mean we had to practically offer nothing to not beat a 1 year contract for that amount.
He was getting like $7 million a year. $15 million for one year is something the rockets couldn’t touch and he’d be crazy to turn down.
Have you been following the lead-up to this free agency season at all? It was widely speculated that role players were gonna get burned very badly this signing period. Role players are signing early as a sign of a cash grab; get it while you can. Plus Ariza was always likely the odd man out going into next years camp. Theres no need for the hate, its pure childish and b****-made.
All downgrades, and all will take additional asset(s) to trade for. It's a shame. I'm not mad that Trevor left (good for him) and I'm not mad that the Rockets apparently decided to not pay Trevor $15M+ (he's not worth it), but I do believe that we are worse off. So that's not good.
Probably. Morey had a plan when the Rockets decided not to match Parsons' deal. Which ironically involved bringing Ariza back to H-Town.
Lol I’m all for not paying trev 15 million dollars, but if y’all are gonna talk about what he didn’t do on offense you better mention what he did do on d!
