The Broncos gave up a ton of sacks the year Tebow was there. Peyton comes there and magically their sacks drop in half, and Bronco's Oline makes the pro-bowl. So did the Line magically get that much better or did Peyton just get rid of the ball faster?
Peyton's football IQ is so high that he can make an average line look great. Gets rid of the ball very quickly.
You don't have to be athletic or fast to be "elusive". Manning is big/tall and has extreme awareness of when he's going to feel pressure. He can adjust protection at the line to correct that, or just change the play all together. That all makes a huge difference besides just getting rid of the ball "faster". Also, protection still needs to be there in some way/shape/form... But with smart qb's like manning and Brady, the protection is made easier at times due to their cerebral abilities.
He got to the super bowl 2 years ago. He would also be playing in a domed stadium which would help him a bunch since he sucks in the cold.
Besides I thought the whole Manning to the Texans thing ended 3 years ago? Let it goooo let it goooooo
The Texans have been out of the first round both times they made the playoffs. Now granted, that's a grand total of 2 games, but hey, you take what you can get.
This. Even the article linked says "a discussion may have gone on" a month ago. And "no trade was consummated", indicating that even this click-bait is admitting the possibility is long-over.
That's the same thing as being out of the first round...meaning, they advanced passed the first round.
If they advance "passed the first round," they are most assuredly not "out of the first round." They're out in the second round. What am I missing here?
Sorry, sorry..... thanks; reading comprehension is not good.... out *of* - yeah, totally misread that. Sorry.
