Nick is a bit bigger and stronger than Cassell. Never seen Cassell anywhere near as athletic. But Cassell is indeed one of the the best ever PGs the Rockets as well as just about every other franchise he joined ever had.

Agreed. Dorsey and Jason Terry are our weaknesses. KJ McDaniels should even see spot minutes for energy and defensive purposes. Our transition defense is among the worst in the league.

Nick needs to start...Jet needs to spot minutes for James...Prigioni can play the back up point...sucks that injuries essentially forced all of this...But losing Bev and DMo...is gonna hurt

Him not getting minutes when Terry is getting roasted time and time again is disheartening.

I'm playing Nick over one of those 37 year old corpses right now. At least eh can chase after guys, get loose balls, and break people down off the dribble. What does Prigioni do? You are asking WAY too much of Harden.

It was inevitable. Jason Terry is only useful when his three pointer is on in spot minutes. He should be our version of Ray Allen on Miami. We can get by with Nick Johnson with Harden being the playmaker. Nick may even be an upgrade defensivly over this years Patrick Beverly. Our band of brothers chemistry is also disrupted with Terry in the starting unit. Prigioni is even better than Terry at this point. McHale needs to go if we lose in the first round again. This adjustment should be a no brainier. KJ McDaniels should also see time as a pit bull defensive stopper. When guys get lazy and fail to get back in transition- play the ones that will... Nick Johnson, Capella and McDaniels. Dorsey and Josh Smith get lazy at times.

All three guys play plus to elite defense. All three are fast and excell in transition. When we play fast McDaniels will get easy baskets and not need to spot up. KJ should be a defensive specialist for now. Used situationally like when Demar Derozan was torching us etc.

Not ready offensively. Missed open J and lay ups will demoralize us even more. I agree in concept, but just not ready.

We are getting blown out because of our lack of defense and energy. Not being ready offensively should not be a deterrent to Nicks playing time. We need to try SOMETHING different.
