Bryce went to go collect stolen bread crumbs when he had a whole LOAF on the way to him already! There comes a time where logic outweighs principle. Pride got the best of this boy.
Was there a possibility he was intoxicated? Can't explain why he wouldn't respond to the occupant who was telling him he was armed.
If I've said it once, I've said it 1000 times, when you go to terrorize your ex GF at 3 AM by kicking down her her apartment door and her bedroom door, make sure you double check the apartment number. This was really preventable.
Him breaking into the wrong apartment may have been the better outcome. I can't imagine he had good intentions by breaking into his ex-girlfriend's apartment.
True, people kicking doors in at 3 AM almost never have good intentions. I kind of doubt he was wanting to kick in her door to say happy birthday or anything like that.
I looked up the apartment complex not his street and it's pretty fairly luxurious. It's not like this was in the middle of the ghetto, the hallways were likely well lit and the doors probably pretty tough to break down. I'd be scared for my life too if that happened to me in the middle of the night. It certainly doesn't help that you almost have to assume that someone breaking into your house is armed here in America. Really just increases the all around paranoia that this country struggles with.
I agree. It's much better in China or Russia where you assume it's the police knocking with benign intentions and nobody but the government has guns.
Prayers for the deceased. The story is pretty suspicious. He kicked in the door of the "wrong apartment" and then further went on to kick in a bedroom door? All at 3am on a Friday night? Um, let's hear more details and facts here. The circumstances seem more like drugs or women issues, or both.
