Yeah. I'm trying to take 2 classes at UofH and 2 at HCC. I work part-time at Academy and they do have some sort of reimbursement for college students but it's not nearly enough for even half the semester.
Bump. Are subsidized loans the only student loans that don't accrue interest while the person is still in school?
You cannot get another job that pays more than $8/hr.? What about being a bus driver? They pay $12-$13/hr. My advice is just take some time off school and cut down on your debt.
Banks do not give student loans without having the school certify them through the FAFSA process, period. - If you get any kind of personal loan, it will have to be co-signed by a credit worthy borrower. - If you can't convince either or both of your parents to get a home equity loan in the next week or so, don't even bother trying to go to class at U of H until Fall 2011. - At this point you have to pay down what you owe to avoid getting credit/collections calls and to avoid completely destroying any chance of getting student or personal loans, or an apartment, car note or cell phone contract, of any kind until it's paid off.
