Hypothetical question. Lock please if poll already done (couldn't find it here in the forums).

If Paul George or Kawhi Leonard were available for the Rockets, but you had to trade Chandler Parsons would you do it?

If yes, who would you pick?

Kawhi Leonard is a special talent. Just watch today's game. He has a bright future.

    Kahwi Leonard. Super role player.
Paul George is turning into a chucker, but can't deny he's still got talent, just have to play more efficiently.
Chandler Parsons's ego is starting to show.

Its a close one. Kahwi would be a nice glue guy and a good fourth option after we sign Melo.
George would blast us onto the moon in terms of talent, but there might be too much ego on the team if we trade for him.

This is all hypothetical of course.

In terms of who's the better player, it's obviously George > Leonard > Parsons as of now, but if we're talking about who I'd want on the Rockets, probably Leonard because he'd be a much better fit as a role player with Harden and Howard.

Tough call. Probably George for what he brings on the offensive end.

Leonard is very good, and will likely become a solid offensive player. George is already there.

    paul george easily.

kawhi is a good player but im sorry im not falling into the hype just because of the heat game. he did not play very well this year.

paul george was a number 1 option on a decent team and would be an even better 3rd option alongside harden and dwight.

The Rockets could have had both Leonard and Parsons and the Pacers could have had both George and Parsons.

the best player is obviously george out of those 3. George doesn't have any other "star" player so teams can collapse on him and forcing him into bad shots. Leonard had just ok games in game 1 and 2 but he's a great role player though. let's just not overrate him again. parsons is benefiting from teams focusing on harden and howard.

    Are we comparing young SF's?

If so, Jimmy Butler and Gordon Hayward also deserve consideration

    Leonard (22 Years Old): 12.8 PPG 2.0 APG 6.2 RPG .522 FG% .379 3P% 29.1 MIN

    George(24 Years Old): 21.7 PPG 3.5 APG 6.8 RPG .424 FG% .364 3P% 36.2 MIN

    Parsons(25 Years Old): 16.6 PPG 4.0 APG 5.5 RPG .472 FG% .370 3P% 37.6 MIN

I'd take Kawhi Leonard. He has the chance to be the best of these 3 and doesn't have an ego problem like the other two.

I remember everyone was so confused we passed up Lenard. They were like Marcus Morris??? Okay yeah!! ( we were excited bcuz we felt our gm always made the right pick). Now looking back we could've had a lineup like..

    Beverly/lin
    Harden
    Leonard/parsons
    Jones
    Howard/asik

Man that is definite contender status right there

I wonder if Leonard would have grown the same in Houston or any other city as he has in San Antonio. Look at the Spurs roster, so many of their contributors were not highly desired when they became Spurs.

Parker and Splitter were low 1st rounders. Manu was a low 2nd rounder. Diaw was fat and discarded by the Bobcats. Mills came back from China (and basically didn't play during his first season as a Spur). Green was waived by Cleveland (and later by the Spurs themselves before getting back).

easy to say what if, but we probably would have had to move him to make cap space for Howard. Also having Leonard and Parsons, one of them would have had under developed, but who knows if Leonard would be the same player without Pop like the previous poster said.

Parson's is insanely overrated on this board.

Kawhi and George are so much better.

No where. Just my assessment. Maybe ego problems was a bad way to put it. Kahwi Leonard would fit well with this Rockets team because he seems to accept his role. While Parsons and George try to do too much.
