NBA is genius.. I was not going to watch this stupid event but now im tuning in to see Bev flop at this. BTW Bev sucks.. what is he going to do piss off the tire?

Thank you. I don't think ANYONE thought Pat was going to be our permanent solution at PG when Morey brought him here. He was supposed to back Lin up, and he has stepped up marvelously these last two seasons with his all out scrappy play. Unfortunately, we need more from that position that his talent can't meet to really contend, but it doesn't mean he's not a valuable player coming off the bench. It even might serve him better exerting his energy in spurts off the bench, rather than trying to go BEAST mode for every minute as a starter. It has clearly affected his play on defense.

There are some haters. But I think the majority just find it funny. It's kind of like if Dorsey was selected for the dunk contest or Dwight was picked to participate in the 3pt shooting competition. (He made 50% this year!)

We'd still root for them to do well. It just doesn't make much sense.

Mr 94ft... i thought that his sucky defense was because he was injured. If he is participating in the skills challenge, not only does it prove that he is not injured, it makes me think that his focus is not where it needs to be.
