He is exciting. Fresh legs. Great D. We need more players like him. Good pickup. Poor Toney.

this might be a knee jerk reaction, but Lin has more trade value than Douglas.

Not saying trade Lin, but it might be something to think about

Beverley picked #12 because 'minus' a consistent 3pt shot ... he's better is all aspect than the guy he's replacing #15 Toney Douglas.

    whats beverly's 3pt fg%.
Figure that out, then compare it to toney douglas who is know as a 3pt specialist or cook (another 3 pt specialist)

Or small sample size filled by adrenaline and no scouring report. I mean, didn't Greg Smith have the highest PER for a while? ;)

I like Beverly, don't get me wrong. But please give the kid some space. I don't want to see him bashed later just cuz folks have unrealistic expectations.

LOL! If I'm shunned, who's gonna defend PB when he has a bad game and the forum's filled with "PB's a scrub" posts? I mean, fans thought we should've kept Livingston over Lin in the pre-season and Machado was once Scott "The Answer" Machado. ;)

Like I said, I like Beverly. But please give the kid some room to blossom. :)

toney is still a better spotup shooter and steady hand..

beverley is a nice change of pace guy for now.. lets see what he can do in higher pressure situations

Could this be the emergence of a BOF movement?

Toney is still a valuable player, he just needs to be playing as the off-guard, an adjustment that still needs to be made. Unless Beverley is a beast in spot-up 3s, then Toney is basically expendable.

why is everyone so quick to say toney has been booted out of the rotation?? i imagine this just means douglas will get more time at SG to give Harden more much needed rest. Which is great. Will be nice to have a 4 guard rotation
