Chill out... Jeremy will get better (so will P-Bev), but next Fall we'll see where they are at with health and their game. Jeremy has a massive upside with a seemingly conquerable barrier (catch-and-shoot jump shots) being his obstacle to evolve.

I expect Lin to still be our starter, but I don't see why people think it's a this guy or that guy type thing... They can both play on the court for around 8-10 minutes a game to give Harden a break. That'd give both of them around 30 minutes with Lin probably getting the lion's share.

    they're both mediocre point guards.

Beverly has definitely earned the starting job. He's the main reason we got to game 6.

    Just think about it.

Next year's team will have a radically different look again.

    We keep
    Patrick Beverley-Jeremy Lin
    James Harden
Chandler Parsons-Carlos Delfino (maybe; Cisco Garcia's team option is too expensive)
    TJones-DMo-TRob
    Omer Asik

Who do you think will still be here next year?

    OMG, are you kidding me????

Jlin is injured, people; Bev is full strength and in his rhythm...

Bev tonight was 4-11 from the field (0-3 three pointers) had ZERO assists, only three boards, a bunch of fouls, only one steal (JLin is top 10 in league in steals) and was absolutely outplayed by the Thunders backup point guard who burned him on a number of occasions.

When Bev plays there is little ball movement and hence too much pressure on Harden. There was a reason why Harden had 10 turnovers the other game and played lousy tonight. Bev is not a playmaker. The Rox will never break 100 points with Bev as point guard.

Guess how many assists Bev had last game as a starter? ONE
Guess how many this game? NONE

If this is the pg of the future than prepare to LOSE, Rox fans.

If Beverly is the starting PG next year, Rockets are in big trouble.

    Parsons
    Harden
    Beverley
    Asik
    (Unknown Superstar)

That lineup is good enough to win lots of games.

52% TS, 2.8 assists/game, foul machine, unimpressive help defense, and never even had to face Westbrook. Yeah, he's the defacto starter, gimme a break.

Beverely is so overrated in this forum is nauseating. He's a good backup point guard and nothing more than that as far as his game goes.

And he has a horrible attitude and incredibly LOW character. He's the FIRST player that should be cut from the team.

And don't call me a LOF......Lin was absolute trash.

Pretty much. Even if Lin is gone I hope Bev stays as a backup. His best attribute is his defense, but as a starter that's not going to cut it. Take away his defense and he's pretty much useless.
