Where'd you get that from? He helped take out Portland 2 weeks ago. Outplayed Bev vs OKC a couple days later.

I thought he did pretty well against the Spurs. And why the high expectations of him? He is on his way out anyway.

Here are the stats from the last games we played against the West with Bev starting.

    vs. Westbrook 24/7/4
    vs. Lillard 21/4/4
    vs. CP3 14/3/9
    vs. Dragic 35/3a
    vs. Curry 25/2/6

Top point guards will be top point guards. They'll still get theirs.

Our bench just got a lot weaker offensively which was already a concern to begin with. Casspi, Hamilton, and Garcia are going to really have to pick up their game now.

Exactly, if you have parsons/harden/howard they should get out of the 1st round if I'm playing PG.

    The playoffs begin April 19th....

Hypothetically he can be ready in 3-4 weeks to practice and play...

If the first round goes 7 games....that means round 2 would start around May 1

So it is possible he could be good to go and been practicing by rd 2...

This assumes the 3-4 week time frame and him having surgery early next week.

You can't forget the games that Bev has played poorly offensively as well. And he's had a handful of those games.

All based on reputation....did they not see Kemba Walker run circles around Bev the other day? Aggressiveness an in your face ball defense does not equal good defense.

It takes a team effort in rotating and switching, and helping to stop elite PG's nowadays. This isn't football where you stick Sherman/Revis on a guy and just let him go to work.

Let's hope. We don't really have the depth we need without him.

3 guard rotation works well for this team.

That's truly awful news. Beverley had a big impact on the team that can't be replaced with Lin and Canaan - at least, not with how they've performed up to this point. If the Rockets hope to get past the second round (even the first will be tough without that check the team always had for Lillard and Curry), those two are going to have to step up another level somehow.

exactly. especially on teams that run PnR to death. bev always got lost just as much as harden no matter how hard he fought through a pick.
HOWEVAH!! BEV got in the heads of opposing pgs by doing pesky things like a luis scola would do. Lin is too nice. every team needs an instigator. Our next instigator on the team would be that vato garcia and he's nowhere to be seen!

In the playoffs all instigators are welcomed.

There is a HUUUUGE difference between looking for our backup PG to step up when our starter goes down to fill in the big hole left by PBev getting hurt and us "crying to Lin" as you so idiotically put it. Good old r****ded LoF's... always reaching for their idol! It's so pathetic really... None of us realistically expect Lin to replace PBev defensively. We DO however, expect him to earn his keep.

Not accurate. I watched those games. The first game against Curry, Bev completely shut him down. The first game against Lillard, Bev shut him down. The place where guys like CP3, WB, Lillard & Curry get most their points on Bev is off screens switch offs and when Pat goes to the bench. Those guys rarely score on Bev back to back. Now Lin is a different story:rolleyes:

Didn't Artest come back like 10 days after this injury?
