I went to the U of Arkansas when this guy was there. Supremely talented scorer, pretty big headcase. Seemed like a team player, most of his issues came in the classroom and off the court. IIRC, he was caught up in a cheating scandal that led to his early departure from college hoops.

The key phrase is rising star, ie that old "potential" chestnut. I like Beaubois , think he's just been unlucky with injury, but it's a stretch to call him a star. I actually watched around a season's worth of Cholet's games as I was interested in Nando De Colo's game.

I doubt a TD trade is imminent, but I bet Morey wants to plan for that contingency. He's playing so well it wouldn't be surprising if we got a good offer for him. His contract is up after this year, there's not much sense in committing too much money for a backup PG so might as well trade him and get some value in return.
Beverley is 24, a 6-foot-1 point guard, and has played overseas for last 4 years, and, as others have said, seems to have a skill set a lot like TDs. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and played for the Miami Heat in the 2010 summer league. He worked out this past offseason for the Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as Rockets. My guess is that Machado will be let go to make space for him.
