Patrick Beverley, Eurocup MVP to join our Rockets

I think that's asking way too much.

I slightly better version of former NBA guard Bobby Brown is probably also asking too much.

A poor man's cross between Rodrigue Beaubois and Toney Douglas is probably the real Patrick Beverley.

 

Unfortunately, the 2-10 shooting is very Machado-like.

 

He's quick, very quick and athletic. He also looked pretty good handling and passing the ball. Can he shoot and finish at the basket, I don't know? He also looked pretty good on defense. But he is definitely quick and athletic.

 

I hate to say this, because Beverely plays defense and plays team ball, and Brown plays zero defense and hogs the ball at an incredible rate - but Brown is way, way, way better of a shooter and scorer than Beverley is.

Brown is a much more talented player, even though he never tries on defense. Beverely get by on athletic ability and effort, not on skill.

I hope he gets a shot, but it will probably take a Lin or Douglas injury.

 

How about split TD's minutes with Beverley? So Beverley can start evolving with our team?

I REALLY feel like he is going to be the reason why our team will do great the rest of the year coming off the bench behind Lin. It's funny how I say that because I haven't even seen him play a single minute for us yet.

I like how he immediately started a conversation with Crawford, the 13 year vet, during the free throw and then stepped up to him while on defense. Not bad.
