It will be fun to crush them in the playoffs, if they make it. The chances of that are remote, no doubt.
This was probably one of the most interesting games, all things considered and you nerds waste time arguing about grammar? SMH
Ariza's sons were with him on the road trip, apparently. Mejri is in upmost [sic] denial of saying what Ariza and Bev upmostly accuses him of Cops were called as well. Bev reported to have words with Carlisle after the game. Here's all the interviews Bev reported as saying "Way to be an icon/leader" to Carlisle or something like that.
also, Spoiler The word is "utmost". @DudeWah was correct. "upmost" is archaic, and really only used when people meant to use utmost, nowadays. Love these grammar battles. We should start a Spelling Survival game again, now that misspellings via mobile phone auto-correct has injected a huge level of error to balance out the game-spoiler affect of browser spellcheck.
"malapropism" is the word you're looking for. the mistaken use of a word in place of a similar-sounding one, often with unintentionally amusing effect, as in, for example, “dance a flamingo ” (instead of flamenco ).
mejri is officially the most hated player. I hate the mavericks more than the Jazz. The city of Dallas can all suck it.
Petty BS. Do these guys have any type common sense? Opposing players never seen what your kids and wife or mama even look like. It's like somebody calling you a poopoo face in kindergarten class. It don't hurt because it doesn't mean nothing other than a head tactic. I wonder how the heck these people survive the real world when they get rattled by some pathetic comments that make no sense. Same as mother insult jokes.. I don't feel anything because the rationalization process registers no ill effect....
Sorry Pat, I tried to defend you. Now it's on you. Time to get Trevor and meet some of these people outside their places of business to discuss the matter further. Truth be told, I agree. I just think the way he used it in that broken sentence while may not be the best use of the word, is somewhat passable considering ways in which the word has been used to convey position. I will concede that utmost is certainly the better choice of the two words considering what he was trying to say. Utmost means degree or something extreme whereas upmost refers to where something is in position or place in regards to other things. "Was the upmost disrespect". The disrespect was above all other forms of disrespect and there is no higher. That word just sucks which is why most people don't use it and the people who do probably confuse it with utmost. Honestly, I'm arguing about him using word in a way that I would never use it lol. So I'm done. You guys technically are probably right. Well it's not as bad as when TMac said escapegoat on national TV though right? I think we can agree to that.
They use it as fuel for their competitiveness. That anger can yield positive outcomes in a sporting match, even if in the "real world" grownups are better off letting it go.
