Why? Celtics drafted Marcus Smart #6 overall. Rondo is in the last year of his contract. They're probably not going to make the playoffs. It doesn't take much to read that Rondo is in his last year as a Celtic. Isn't it in their best interest to get something in return rather than letting him walk for nothing?

Let Canaan start to guard PGs. Let Canaan bring the ball up and make Harden the primary creator with Canaan playing SG role.

Keeps the bench rotation basically the same.

At this point, I'd prefer Starbury. Who would have thunk 10 years ago? :(

It's possible that Rondo puts his trust in the Boston FO and stays. He seems to have a awkward yet good relationship with Ainge. If they feel there's a good chance of him staying, they won't have to settle on any less than spectacular deal.

We can ill afford to have Bev out. Get well soon, he is the heart of the team.
DM needs to look for a backup PG instead of Garcia.

PG and C are positions we can't afford to lose our starting players. Hoping Bev get back soon and Dwight doesn't get injured, or it will be ugly.

Terry can probably run the point if needed.

I'm really concerned. Beverley is the heart of the starting unit, with his energy. More essential than Parsons ever was.

It's not about running the point; it's about Bev's defensive hustle.

Canon and Nick should be able to step up. Both are promising talent.
