It would be a major loss if he misses some time. Although I think Harden, Terry, and Canaan can collectively get the job done offensively. He's irreplaceable on defense, though.

I remember Iguodala last season pulled his hamstring against the Lakers and he was never the same for that season....Hope that's not the case for Beverly.

I laugh at your statement. other than ariza on the perimeter there are no tenacious defenders. pat is on the ball defense all game. all plays. I don't think harden can expend that type of energy on def like pat. who are these tenacious defenders you speak of on the perimeter that are guards? let me guess garcia who shut kd down? Terry who can steal the ball. nobody gets in the face of opposing players like pbev.

yea short term. few games may be alright but longer term wil have to change the whole pholosophy of the TeAm defense.

and this ability to bring in a solid PG immediately - other than trading for an allstar or star. rondo. Rubio. dragic etc.. what PG are you thinking of.

but knowing pbev kid probably plays Saturday. I still want to read your answers to my questions though

When I said Solid Defenders I didn't exclusively mean just the perimeter, the interior D is also Solid enough to cover some mistakes from the PG position. In addition to Ariza, Garcia and K-Pop are imo Pretty Solid perimeter defenders. We all know that Harden has the ability to be a shutdown perimeter defender and even Terry and Daniels have shown flashes this season. When 4 other teammates play good D (which the Rox are capable of with multiple lineups) occasional Bad D at PG can be offset. I don't have a specific emergency PG in mind, but time after time, the Rox under Morey have been Excellent with their PG selections.

really worried about bev...his style of play makes him injury prone...what matters now is continuity so the team continues to gel and ripen come playoff time....i'm all for getting another Good PG as early as this time

    the bench is growing thinner

Spots for Johnson, Capela, Dorsey are looking less and less useful for this season

Harden can be combo guard. We just need another defense piece.

    Bummer.

Hamstring injuries can possibly take a long time to completely heal.

Wtf! I missed the second half a so this is a crappy thing to wake up to.

Hamstring injuries can linger IIRC, and now Canaan will get heavy minutes which scares me.

    Get well soon Bev!

Cut Dorsey/Garcia, sign Gal Mekel (PG). He was waived by Dallas to make room for the Barea signing. Good play maker and decent defender, seems to have improved significantly over the summer.

Id like us trading for Tyler Ennis. I can see something special in this kid, and yet Suns have a lot of guards and he will sit on the bench for whole season, if not more.

Exactly. If he's healthy, sign me up.

If we can get him without giving up our top 3, Dwight, Harden, or Ariza, sign me up.

    Otherwise, don't want him.

Maybe something along the lines of

    Jones, KPap, Peli 1st.
