Grade 1: Slight pull - 2 to 10 days of rest & rehab Grade 2: anywhere from a bad strain to a slight tear- could be several weeks. At least 10 to 15 days. Grade 3: actual muscle tear - several weeks and might require surgery. Probably looking at missing a large chuck of time. I've pulled quite a few Hammy's in my day. They aren't what I would call "serious" but they can keep you out longer than you think. Beverley could be out for awhile depending on how bad the pull is, if the muscle is torn, and depending on how quick it heals.
Didn't Bev get injured early last season too? I don't mean the fractured hand, but something before that kept him out about a week.
Hopefully not out more than a week - tough stretch starting next Thursday. In the meantime, start The Jet and give Troy some burn.
He cracked a rib or tore a muscle down there or something. PBev's playing style makes him injury prone. Which is an issue because PG is our weakest position by far.

Maybe he needs to play at 80 mph instead of 100 mph. His aggressiveness combined with his smaller stature probably isn't good for his body. Part of being a good defensive player is also pragmatism.

Damn this sucks; he's become one of my favorite players. I was looking forward to watching him kick the Heat's asses again.
