It goes even deeper. If Parsons had stayed, not only would we have no Ariza, but no Brewer, Smith, and an out for the season Bosh.
Yeah, definitely agree, I mean we're not full strength either, but would prefer no excuses from fellow Mavs fans when houston moves on.
Don't worry guys, I got this Spoiler <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="4" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"><div style="padding:8px;"> <div style=" background:#F8F8F8; line-height:0; margin-top:40px; padding:50% 0; text-align:center; width:100%;"> <div style=" background:url(data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAACwAAAAsCAMAAAApWqozAAAAGFBMVEUiIiI9PT0eHh4gIB4hIBkcHBwcHBwcHBydr+JQAAAACHRSTlMABA4YHyQsM5jtaMwAAADfSURBVDjL7ZVBEgMhCAQBAf//42xcNbpAqakcM0ftUmFAAIBE81IqBJdS3lS6zs3bIpB9WED3YYXFPmHRfT8sgyrCP1x8uEUxLMzNWElFOYCV6mHWWwMzdPEKHlhLw7NWJqkHc4uIZphavDzA2JPzUDsBZziNae2S6owH8xPmX8G7zzgKEOPUoYHvGz1TBCxMkd3kwNVbU0gKHkx+iZILf77IofhrY1nYFnB/lQPb79drWOyJVa/DAvg9B/rLB4cC+Nqgdz/TvBbBnr6GBReqn/nRmDgaQEej7WhonozjF+Y2I/fZou/qAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC); display:block; height:44px; margin:0 auto -44px; position:relative; top:-22px; width:44px;"></div></div> <p style=" margin:8px 0 0 0; padding:0 4px;"> <a href="https://instagram.com/p/1zDZuVLke1/" style=" color:#000; font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:17px; text-decoration:none; word-wrap:break-word;" target="_top">There is no better education than #adversity. Man. Hate to see parsons go down. I love to hate the guy on a basketball level. But on the personal level I would rather see him battle the rockets.
Im happy for the pain Cuban is feeling but I hope Parsons still can resume his career at full strength. It will be much more enjoyable beating them every time they take the court.
Why would you root for another team's star to resume his career at full strength? It sucks yes but who cares if his career is over he's not on our team. That's one less obstacle for us to go through. Injuries are a natural occurrence in the NBA, if we had to endure the pain from Yao and McGrady years so should others. That's like saying I wish Brandon Roy, Greg Oden and Wes Mathews was playing right now at an all-star level for the Blazers. If that were to happen the entire league would be doomed.
Because human compassion? Geez. Anyway: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Chandler Parsons says, if the <a href="https://twitter.com/dallasmavs">@dallasmavs</a> weren't playing the Rockets, he would have sat out Game 1. ^ Kind of makes me respect him more to play through the pain and obvious mental obstacles. I have to admit, he had a pretty nice dunk in game 1.
I remember seeing Villanueva in a Micky D's High School All-American game and you would think he'd be the next Rasheed, C. Webb, KG etc type of PF in the NBA.... Same thing with Battier @ Duke. You'd assume Battier was the next prime Grant Hill....
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>CParsons: "I was obviously looking forward to this series against Houston and it's all taken away from me. It's devastating."</p>— Dwain Price (@DwainPrice) <a href="https://twitter.com/DwainPrice/status/591313375692480512">April 23, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>45 million reasons not to be too devastated...
Kicking a team while they're down isn't the best thing in the world.... Letting them come back into this series would be worse though. Stomp them out for the sake of ending their post season suffering.
Sucks to hear, while i hated the way he departed and the comments he made about our city. I enjoyed his time here, I wanted to beat the Mavs at their full capacity it just makes the games more interesting. Oh well finish em off, put em out of their misery.
Damn, that's devastating if true. Glad he got his money (not being sarcastic). May never be the same player.
He sucks anyway And why is this here. Take this to the DISH Portions is no longer a Rocket for as much as you may like him to be. I don't want anything to do with that prima donna diva and mediocre player in the GARM
