This is really turning into great show... "I suffer from a rare sleeping disorder." "What?" "I sleep fight." "I'm sorry, that's horrible." "Only when I'm losing." ... or something like that.
NBC really was on fire tonight. Community had an all-time great ep, Parks had maybe their best show of the year, the Office was decent, and 30 Rock was fairly good. I mean clearly the office and 30 rock have lost a bit off their fastball, and Community and Parks are young and hungrier but this is a damn good 2 hours of comedy.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Don’t teach a man to fish, and you feed yourself. He’s a grown man. Fishing’s not that hard.
Adam Scott (the assistant? Burn. He's clearly the junior partner but calling him the assistant is a grade-A backhanded compliment) will fit right in but I'm still on the fence about Rob Lowe. When I heard he would be on the show, I was having trouble seeing what he would bring to the table besides a thoroughly faded name value. So far so good but let's see where they go with his character.
I like what they are doing with his character, kind of a quirky character who plays up the positive while his underling does the dirt work.
The assistant is the main character of a show on showtime called Party Down. It's another amazingly funny show about a catering business, very much worth checking out at least one episode.
wow everyone railing on all these eps. I thought this was pretty decent also. Tom's Benadryl line.. Swanson's 'semi'.. among other things
Yes, even bad shows have funny moments. But good ones have so many funny moments that I can't even begin to list them.
Damn, our satelite has really been screwing up lately. I didn't get any sound for this episode for the first 9 minutes. I was pretty upset at this because in the opening when Ron is just sitting there in the office all by himself and Andy comes whizzing by looked pretty funny, even without sound.
Same thing happened to me on my Comcast DVR. I thought it was just a corrupt recording...interesting.
