I'm curious to know if the signs in a parking lot that are reserved customers at a certain business are legit. I think it is total BS and I want to know if there is an actual law that gives a business the right to tow for parking in one of these spaces. From my point of view a business leases a space for which to do business which I'm sure doesn't include 'x' amount of spaces in the parking lot, so how can they legitimately have you towed for parking there. Has anybody ever got towed from parking in one these spaces?
No expert, but I am sure the individual stores have a deal with the landlords. Though I am sure there are many places that try to get away with illegaly.
I think Rice Village does actually have the ability to enforce this in certain spots ...but not all spots. Does that help?
