Not gonna worry about this one. Easily replaceable, move on to the next target.

Am I wrong to see a little Peja Stojakovic in him?

Because he is the only other white foreign SF you can think of?

So we are reaching David Kahn level now?

Honestly, it sounds like just a matter of the salary cap and buyout situation. HOU wants to reserve a big enough portion of the MLE for some other use, Papanikaloau has a buyout that's too expensive to pay if he doesn't get a big enough salary.

So, he ends up staying for one more year.

    Dear God I hope not.
Someone better call Cpt. Kirk and the Starship Enterprise, just in case.

Not really disappointed because this guy didn't really impress me that much. Just mad that I wasted past couple of days getting familiar with him...

Looks like next season is targeted as a much more financially feasible year to bring him over. Morey can't dip into the MLE like he would need to in order to sign him to what he wants. The Rockets have more pressing issues right now.

Next year Im sure we will get some trades done, and the future will probably look alot more clear.

From watching him some in the past, I think he definitely still has some developing left to do as well. Another season with a larger role could help his transition to the NBA. I don't see the Rockets doing much with the SF role behind Ariza at the moment, and if one of Jones/D-Mo get moved this year than there could be an opening to get major minutes there next year as a stretch 4.

I like Paps, and was hoping they could pull off the signing but I understand why they can't spend the extra $ right now. They have more pressing issues at the moment.

dont understand this. was morey being cheap as hell or is it a technical issue? hopefully its technical cuz there's no reason not to bring him over if its gonna be a small contract.

We do have his rights, and it seems he does want to come here. If his buyout is less next year as suggested, than another year in Europe may not be so bad.

Way to ignore the point and try to make it personal. Be more of a douche. Also, yes, I read the things I reply to. So do most people.

    Have a good one.

I'm Italian and I follow Europa League and he's a monster, I hoped to sign him and maybe my dreams are coming true!

He will be a crack also in NBA, maybe not immediately, but he has all to be one of the best European player in NBA.

    Go Rockets!
