This is so wrong. This world will not be a safe place if we allow money trails to be undisclosed and kept secret.

 

all of this is rich people problems. poor people spend 100%+ of their income so they can't afford lawyers and schemes to help them avoid tax.

 

i find the copying and pasting of relevant news stories far more interesting than whatever it is you are doing.

 

This is all getting absurd.

It reminds me of the Republicans in 2008 and 2012 constantly claiming blockbuster scandals against Obama that would magically turn the tide and expose Obama as some sort of Manchurian candidate and voters would suddenly realize that they had been conned.

Now it is Bernie Sanders followers that are complete divorced from reality. From the media being the reason that Sanders is losing badly in the electoral college, to those that actually think Sanders is on pace to win the nomination, to "big business" all coming together and deciding who the President will be.

Now we have this...... it is TERABYTES! TERABYTES! OMG BIGGEST AND MOST IMPORTANT EVA! ......... listening to a select few posters (most of which were not even born in this country), this incredible news will topple the USA and the WEST...........

Yet what have we learned? Not much.... a politician from Narnia has resigned and Putin is dirty (really?).

David Cameron's FATHER, who died 5 years ago left money in an off shore account???? David Cameron wouldn't comment to a reporter on it??? OMG

I don't really think any of this really has anything to do with Bernie. It's much larger than that.

This gets to the core of 8% of ALL wealth in the world hidden in offshore accounts, and the specific allegations of conflict of interest, obstruction of justice, money laundering, bribery, corruption et al. that have come with it.

This gets to $400 million stolen from the Ugandan authorities who can't afford beds for their hospitals, money being funneled to Syrian jets, and the hidden conflicts of interest that drive political choices.

And it's really David Cameron making a big deal out of all this--after all, he is chairing a conference on international tax transparency (lol)

 

If I drive around in a car with 100,000 in cash in the truck and get pulled over I'm going to have that money seized by the cops. They will suspect it's drug money or question why I don't have it in a bank.

The double standard in this society is brutal. When businesses do it it's ok but when it's regular folks it's probably foul play.

 

Oh it goes deeper - 100% of the world's money is kept off the shores of the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, or Southern Oceans.

All smells very fishy to me.
