You add mentally weak players to a team that already has a mentally weak center, and he enables that behavior what do you think you are going to get, better?

    Yeah, no.

Thuggee or tuggee (Hindi: Nepali ठग्गी ṭhagī; Urdu: ٹھگ‎; Sanskrit: sthaga; Sindhi: ٺوڳي، ٺڳ; Kannada: ಠಕ್ಕ thakka) refers to the acts of Thugs, an organized gang of professional assassins.

    hey, im okay with this...

If you don't think this team was "thug" before getting Smith, then you're missing something.

Clubhouse cancer? The Josh Smith experiment failed. It's not failing. It's over.

I hate that, we LOST those playoffs, that is like fans saying TMac scored so much in the playoffs...WHO THE **** CARES????

If you are not leading your team to winning basketball, you are not doing it in the playoffs, scoring 30 while losing is meaningless...

Sometimes the TEAM is better when everyone gets to touch the ball.

Everyone told me we could "just cut him!" when it failed though.

We're not cutting him. We're stuck with this ball stopping, chemistry killing bonehead until the end of the season.

Right here! I don't care if our team has gotten "thuggier" but we're playing like b**ches right now. We need some good physical basketball. We need versatile players. Morey has only picked up one dimmensional players. This is what happens when you use nba 2k sports as your basis of analysis. 9th seed or 8th seed here we come.

Maybe it was a poor chioce of words , but I felt that I had to encapsulate the feeling of playing both dumb basketball and having a poorer attitude. While the rockets have never played particularly smart , at the beggining of the season we made enough solid, smart plays to win games. Now playing dumb is the main mode and our good stretches aren't long enough to beat good teams. We had decent stretches during even this game where we were playing hard and not forcing up things on offense. However they didn't last for long enough and golden states shooting can't always be stopped. There has been a noticeable difference in our style of play with smith and then with Dwight back. We are trying to invent a new style and these two aspects which I've discussed are negative elements to how we are playing now . I like that we have done a better job at getting Dwight the ball when he is fronted, but the negatives of smith outweighs the positive. I can't wait and we need jones back playing well.
