Kendrick Perkins? You mean the guy who cost the Thunder a dynasty, and the reason why Westbrook and Harden are together again, but on a different team, that Perkins?
Still feels weird seeing a guy I went to church with in the NBA then ESPN...but yea I hope he's right.
He grew up and went to school in Beaumont. But more importantly, WTH happened to DM between 1:05 and 1:14?!
I have always said that Kendrick Le'Dale Perkins is one of the great basketball savants of our time. A true speaker of wisdom.
No Ariza and Moute the following year after that hamstring away year. Like Perkins said the chemistry was gone.
i agree with perk here too.... though they are probably adding him mostly so lakers can't get another ball handler/facilitator they desperately want, still....
By Rachel Nichol's logic the Warriors were never really contenders in 2019 because they are trash in 2020. Pure idiocy. Each season has its own identity. What the Rockets did in 2019 does not, in any way, devalue or diminish what the team did in 2018 when they were better than the Warriors virtually every step of the way until Chris Paul's injury. Funny thing is talking heads like Nichols and Friedell were doubting the Rockets throughout that season too, which makes their justifications now even more disingenuous.
I’d like to add Kendrick as last man on the bench. He can do his six fouls then tweet about how the other center can’t shoot free throws during the game.
He was on 610 today and I loved what he said. I don't have the transcript but it was effectively, "the Rockets are going all in and I love it. They have the most dangerous backcourt in NBA history and now they are built to exploit that duo." He went on to say that he wouldn't be surprised if they went to the Finals. Not that I need Kendrick Perkins to tell me what I can see with my own eyes but I like this version. I hope James gets some rest, and if he Russ and PJ T(hicc)ucker are peaking come playoffs, I like our chances!
Yup. I ran into him at Chase bank in Creekside/Woodlands a few weeks back. Had one of his kids with him. I didn’t say anything to him.
