Our #2 draft pick "Jalen Green" seems to have a ceiling of . . .Gerald Green

    Jalen can't dribble under pressure.....

    Jalen can't shoot.....

    You're trolling at this point.

Maybe you're right. I don't read every thread.

I've not seen one comment say he won't ever get better though.

And lol. I don't care about him 'analytically succeeding'

I care about him not having the fundamentals of basketball down pat.

Word.. I mentioned "analytically success" because I thought you were one of them analytics acronym( TS%, PER, WKPRC in Cincinatti) mfers that use it as the only source to prove whether someone is a NBA player.. My bad lol... I'm glad to be part of a real debate on eye test ****.. You have my respect!... Though I've notice the sports geeks haven't been as bad since Harden's departure.. lol

The fact you don't understand the analogy, then proceeded to further emphasise how bad Jalen is - whilst thinking it somehow disproves my analogy - instead it reaffirmed it, is quite comical.

Meanwhile, Josh Christopher seems like he's learning the game a bit.

Jalen Green seems to have a ceiling of......Josh Christpher

Seriously apparently JC has higher basketball IQ, bigger frame, play with more hustle, and he can do whatever Green can do.

It's laughable to compare Jalen Green with Gerald Green. Jalen will come back slowly, then he will take off, I believe.

You're right, they are not really comparable because Gerald stuffed his dunks and Jalen bricks his. That's why it's a "ceiling" rather than a direct comparison.

They are similar in the sense that both jump high and both could be more offensively efficient. But there really is no true comparison because Gerald finishes much better in traffic, has the much higher basketball IQ, and does the little things that win ballgames like Shane Battier or Chuck Hayes Lite.

Case-in-point best evidence: This year we lost a lot with Jalen as our starter. He gets injured and suddenly we go on a winning streak and look like a fringe playoff team. He comes back and we go on a long losing streak again and look worse than ever. It doesn't even take detailed, peer reviewed statistical analysis of the type only I am licensed to provide to diagnose. Dude does not even pass the eyeball test. Even some random little kid who has a few little-league basketball games under his belt playing on 8 foot rims would be able to watch any Rockets game and tell you that Jalen is a bust who will never equal Lord Gerald.

Jalen hits his head on Gerald's ceiling -- too low.

Not every great player wins that contest in style.

Gerald easily one of the Top 5-10 Dunkers of All time.

Outside of that never reached that height.

    Woulda, coulda situation.

Dunking is probably the only thing Gerald Green was kind of elite at.

It is not laughable to compare their slam dunks, Gerald was pretty fly at that.
