Why are you making such a celebration out of the fact that in this one instance, it appears that militant Islamists were not involved with a terror attack?

Yes, other people are evil and kill people as well.

Not like we did not know that before.

If your point is "don't rush to conclusions", yes, you are right. Here's a cookie.

The NY Times headline this morning was "Big Blast Hits Government Buildings in Central Oslo".

I'm not sure why you guys get worked up about that stuff though.

    Bottom line, it's horrible news.

You can't really blame people for thinking Muslim extremists were behind this when the news came out.
I was watching Al Jazeera at the time and that's what most of their analyst/experts thought as well.

I was not celebrating anything, you r****d. These are horrible news.

Neither did I personally make an assumption, nor did I "celebrate" anything. I just relayed a news article. The "rushing to conclusions" was done by ALL the media, hell, even by Islamists themselves, if you look at their forums.

Also, see HMMHMM's post...even Al Jazeera was saying the same thing at the time.

You know if he dyed his hair black, went tanning and grew full grown beard
I can totally see him in a Islamic extremist group.

There are now at least 80 youths reported killed on that island. Could all of you step away from the mutual crapfest and give some consideration to the dimensions of these horrific acts?

It's hard to believe that one single man could have done the bombing and the shooting all by himself. He must have had accomplices.

In a country with 5 million inhabitants, if it ends up being 100 people, in relation to the overall population size, that is as if 6,000 people were killed in the USA.

Worst day in Norwegian history, at least since world war II.

    Very sad.

Surely the same man couldn't have done both. That's simply too much to believe. There have to be more madmen involved.

Blows me away. One man did this all by himself? I think not.

This thread could go 10 more pages and be filled with heartfelt condolences and sincere prayers from this point on, but it would still be a ****ty thread thanks to the original thread title and the motive behind it

It's very sad how one man can be so cruel, while another can be so shallow
