Oslo Attacks: Suspicion Falls on Attackers Rather than Religion I Don't Like

I predict there will be more of these attacks here as well as in Europe.

The more the media and the folks with extremist views sow the seeds of hate, the more loonies like this guy will be shaped.

This attack is probably giving other lunatics out there some sort of encouragement.

Norway's toughest jail sentence is 21 years.

 

The difference is that one can post some thing like that with no worries of being killed, but draw a Mohammad cartoon....

 

From what I've read, Norway has a law that allows authorities to extend a prisoner's original sentence for a period of 5 years if they are still perceived as a threat to society. It can be extended for an unlimited number of times, so they can theoretically imprison someone for life.

The adult population of Norway is ~2% muslim, same as Canada & about a half-percent lower than the UK. The US is ~.5% muslim.
