Has nothing to do with me hearing or not hearing from him specifically.

Why are you spreading possible false information?

Cool, let me go make up that if LeBron opts out, it's between LA and Houston in that order! LeBron has said this.

We don't need Melo, what we need is a new coach. George Karl will make a huge difference on this team. George Karl>>>>>Melo

been talked about for a while so you never know. I don't know how it would work, but if it did, we do know that Melo would not look as if he is disinterested on the court. I will give him that. but it would take some serious roster turnover and a lot of young inexpensive players.

I really wouldn't do it. We have plenty of scorers. We just need a two way defensive wing.

I believe we need someone off the bench like Jamal Crawford! We need a dynamic scorer coming in when Harden sits or looks like ****

Parsons flopped, Lin flopped, Asik tried hard and I love him for that, but meh he isn't of great use to us as you can see.

    Bring is Melo.

It took me like three goes at using this team on NBA 2K 14 to know it isn't winning squat. I'd prefer a All Star PG, but Melo will do I guess.

Melo is not the answer. Could this team be better with him added to the roster? Maybe. A lot of that depends on how much they'd have to gut the team in order to clear the cap room needed to trade for or sign him.

But what the Rockets need more than anything else is a more efficient offensive system that doesn't rely on ISOs and a commitment to playing better team defense. That's gonna require a brand new coach and possibly a change in philosophy by Daryl Morey(we'll know if that happens based on who he hires as the next coach).

All Melo will do is steal shots away from Harden, and Howard. One ISO for another. JLin only took 5 shots last game. Do you imagine Melo would be happy taking only 5 shots? We need role players like a Delfino, defensive intensity, and a better coach to make it all work--not another big ego whose never been past the second round of the playoffs.

I think Carmelo says a lot of things. I think he loves the attention. I also think an upgrade at the point is more important than adding a gunner, though the Rockets absolutely need more gunners. Can Morey 1. find a back up for Dwight after Asik is shipped out 2. upgrade the point, so Harden doesn't need to dominate the ball so much 3. upgrade the four with either a shooter or a defensive specialist, and 4. swing a deal for Carmelo, either as a sign and trade or outright signing? Oh, and 5. acquire more shooters, preferably with playoff experience. That's a pretty tall order for a GM who's got two rotation players with balloon contracts.

And you can pretty much assume that Asik's going to turn up the heat once the season is over. He's going to flip out if he's not traded, because he's one year away from another contract.
