Yes, but there are ways to structure deals around that. But seems to be a moot point since reports from Denver is that they are not moving Afflalo on.
Always liked Afflalo. I remember one time he lit up the Rockets lol. Wasn't he the main guy Orlando got back in the Howard Trade? Now Howard turned into Evan Fronier and a second round pick lol. Thank goodness Vucivic turned into a good player.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Also - great job by Denver stealing Afflalo for 30 cents on the dollar. Magic must have a 2nd deal coming because that trade makes no sense.</p>— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) <a href="https://twitter.com/BillSimmons/statuses/482179991522643971">June 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Lets hope not. Dealing Lin now to Orlando or anywhere else now would make it harder to structure deals in July.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>1. DEN traded Afflalo for Iguodala. 2. DEN traded Iguodala for a trade exception. 3. Seriously. Everyone saying this is a trade for both sides is clueless. Afflalo is so underrated. He's a super role player just like Parsons.
I really thought he was gonna go to either Chicago or OKC Can you imagine the Thunder if they had Arron Afflalo
obviously Orlando wanted to clear the SG position for Oladipo, haven't people worked that out yet. The magic will look to draft a point guard now i reckon
Orlando has to be high on Fournier to make this move. No way they think that they can actually make good use of the salary savings.
Exactly. No one worth mentioning. Maybe the Nuggets did this trade because their trade exception was about to expire??
