Nash won't have 5 years left in this league if he's in Orlando. The trainers and the weather play a HUGE part in keeping Nash fresh. Once he moves to Orlando, he's gonna start breaking down faster. And where will Orlando/D12 be when that happens? Orlando's gonna be better off calling Howards bluff and not trading him...or trading him for Kobe himself.
Note: for those saying the Magic can't trade their first round pick in this year's draft because they traded their first round pick last year... That's not true. You can't trade 2 future consecutive 1 round picks. If the Magic have already dealt their 2013 first round pick, then they can't deal their 2012 first rounder. But future comes off the title of a pick the night of the draft after the pick is made.
Ok, you're joking right? I understand weather and training plays some part....but Orlando is not THAT cold...and to say that the Orlando "weather" and "trainers" will cause steve nash to break down...thats crazy.
You mean trading for an unhealthy Gilbert Arenas didn't pay off for them? (What a contract to amnesty, huh?)
good team, but there was no Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls at that time. There was only the injured Boston Celtics and the Lebron led Cavs. If Magic + Dwight want to be a championship team, he needs another dangerous all star on the perimeter to complement him.
Who can create for himself and others without relying on playing through Dwight and living off of set 3 pointers
That's what I was thinking. If we don't have to give up too much, maybe we could be the 3rd team facilitator.
Here's why it works: win now mode - Ring or Bust. May keep Howard, but probably not. Here's why it doesn't work: Steve is old.
If we had a star and was a legit contender, I think we would be interested. But unfortunately, we do not.
Why do the Rockets need Steve Nash, unless we are getting Gortat too? Lowry is a far more valuable player right now than Steve Nash, given his age, and his contract.
Idk about that. IF you are a team looking to win a championship now, I think you might value Steve Nash more.
