Watch the Rockets on my big screen for the first hour. Then switch to football on the big screen, but watch the Rockets on my IPad.
Could never get into college football, or see the hype about it. I bet it's great if you actually went to that college and got invested in the team, but never understood people who get invested in colleges they never even went to. But I know everyone has different taste.
Since I have Dish Network, I always watch Rockets games on my computer in HD. So I'll watch the Rockets on my computer like normal, and have the National Championship on the TV. Also, LSU or any other SEC team isn't playing in the game this year, so my interest in the game isn't as high as usual. Plus, neither Oregon or Ohio State were really on the radar much this year, so I don't have any kind of reason to prefer one team to win over the other.
The games and atmosphere is a lot more intense. In college football, one loss could put you out of the national championship picture. So whenever a worthy opponent comes to town, everything is on the line. It makes for really intense games and electric atmospheres. College crowds go nuts. It makes the sport as a whole really fun.
I'm a TCU fan but they aren't consistently screwing the SEC. Auburn was the 6th highest ranked SEC squad but they had to play Wisconsin, the 3rd highest ranked Big 10.
silly question because the rockets are fortunate enough to start playing at 7:30 ET and the oregon game won't start until about 1 hr 15 mins later. the rockets game will be over by half time of the national championship game. i didn't go to either oregon or ohio state so i don't have a rooting interest to where i need to see every minute of the game. watching the 2nd half will more than suffice. and i might not even do that even though the rockets won't be competing with them in the 2nd half. if the game is close i'll watch the 4th quarter.
Rockets, but I'll probably check in on the football game until I hear the first "THE Ohio State University" So, in other words, the Rockets.
