Villar Carter and Santana? out of those, the only interesting player is Santana. The rest I like Phillips but...he's on the brewers now so can't really root too hard for him
As much hate as we gave him, and he got plenty from myself....we probably don't make the playoffs last year without Carters September
or...we would've maintained our season lead in the standings and won the division had Carter shown up April-August.
I took off this afternoon just to watch the game and have some cold ones Can't take off tomorrow now, and no reason they couldn't put the game at 7 instead of noon tomorrow FU mlb and FU yankees
I see this complaint almost every year... but don't people realize that the majority of teams in baseball (especially in the AL) play in a cold weather city? Hell, the entire central divisions of both leagues are all north of the mason-dixon line. You just can't have every opening week/month game in a warm weather city... and they've only been doing this for about a century, and there's always the weather issues till we get closer to May. Hell, just watched a YES replay of Yankees opening day in 96 where they played in snow flurries. Now, if you want to suggest that every team up north needs a roof (or retractable roof)... that's another story.

It's so underrated. The design is unlike your traditional ballpark. It can be mind numbingly loud with the roof closed, and a beatific baseball heaven with the roof open. It's got several interesting food options including the 5/7 grille, the historic Union station, the train, the Squeeze play, the Astros history wall. MMP is my favorite stadium in Houston.
